Ministry Profile
Covenant Word Ministries (CWM) is a para-church organization dedicated to helping people connect with God, His Word and His Vision for their lives through nurturing faith and casting vision. It is a legally registered entity and is incorporated in Uganda.
CWM’s vision is a global community of Kingdom co-labourers victoriously leading lives by the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus, and its mission is to reach and train believers to apply their lives to the glorious gospel of Christ Jesus and to multiplying Kingdom labourers.
CWM executes its mission through four ministry programmes: i) an Associate Ministry Programme (AMP); ii) an Alumni Ministry Programme (AMP-G); iii) a Prison Ministry Programme (PMP) and iv) a Friends and Family Programme (FFP). These ministry programmes are conducted through five ministry platforms: i) a monthly study issue – The Labourer’s Terms of Covenant; ii) Mission Campaigns; iii) Mission Seminars; iv) Life Application Product Offers; and v) a Ministry Website.
The Associate Ministry Programme (AMP) is an apprenticeship ministry through which CWM initiates believers into a lifestyle of building and multiplying strong lifelong discipleship relationships within the context of a structured framework – the Mission Apprenticeship Framework (MAF)
The Alumni Ministry Programme (AMP-G) is a liaison ministry through which the CWM Mission Team interacts with CWM Graduate Associates for purposes of fellowship, prayer and joint ministry to their lifelong Christian friends.
The Prison Ministry Programme (PMP) is a complimentary ministry to believers in select prison facilities across Uganda as well as to eligible believers that have left prison. The PMP is currently active in 24 prisons across 15 districts: Kampala (4), Wakiso (3), Jinja (3), Mukono (1), Kayunga (1), Masaka (1), Mbarara (3), Ibanda (1), Nakasongola (1), Kumi (1), Soroti (1), Mubende (1), Lira (1), Abim (1) and Mubende (1).
The Friends and Family Programme (FFP) is a subscription-based ministry through which believers can reach out to their friends and family members with faith-building teachings from CWM.

In the latest of our feature life stories, we share with you how CWM together with its Partners reached and impacted one life behind the walls of Jinja Main prison, here in Uganda.
That individual was a death row inmate who will soon walk out a free and transformed character.
His story is testimony of the transforming power of the gospel of Christ, and of the difference CWM Partners are making on individual lives here in Uganda and beyond.
