When you contact Covenant Word Ministries, we may request certain information in order to serve or minister to you. This will usually include identification and contact information and past experiences with CWM. Examples where such information may be requested include: subscriptions, prayer requests, praise reports, convention registration forms or other forms containing your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, and past transactions you have had with us.

We assure you that we value your trust and therefore, treat all personal information - nonpublic information that identifies you – you provide us with in relation to our services and ministry to you with respect and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Our Privacy Policy

Any reference to “Covenant Word Ministries” or “CWM” within the context of this Privacy Policy is intended, and shall be considered to be inclusive of each and all entities operated by Covenant Word Ministries.

  • CWM will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
  • CWM will only share personal information in the interest of public safety and as required by law.
  • CWM will notify you, and seek approval, in the event we desire to use any information covered by this policy in any manner not already described herein.
  • CWM may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or other people when: we have your consent to share the information; or, we need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested.
  • CWM will require other servicing companies to whom we disclose personal information to adhere to our Privacy Policy standards. All related authorizations and disclosures will conform to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  • CWM restricts access to your personal information to only those employees who have reasonable need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you.
  • CWM will maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect personal information we obtain about you.
  • CWM will not share personal information if doing so requires that such information be sent to a third person or country that does not have an adequate protection system in place.
  • CWM will make every effort to ensure that the privacy and other rights of children (minors) are not compromised. It is recommended that children have a parent or guardian verify their subscription/registration with CWM.

The following online privacy principles apply when you visit our Web site at www.cwm.or.ug.

  • You can visit us on the Internet without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself, including your e-mail address.
  • The web servers of our Internet Service Providers (ISP) collect information on the domain name you used to access the Internet and we use this information to measure the number of visits, average time spent, pages viewed, and other statistics about visitors coming to our Web site in general. We may also use this data to monitor site performance and to make the site easier and more convenient to use.
  • E-mail: If you send us e-mail, you should know that there is no encryption to protect the transmission of that information and that it is not secured against interception.

In the latest of our feature life stories, we share with you how CWM together with its Partners reached and impacted one life behind the walls of Jinja Main prison, here in Uganda.

That individual was a death row inmate who will soon walk out a free and transformed character.
